The Sherborne West ward covers the Town of Sherborne to the west and south of South Street and the Marston Road.
The Council seat is currently held by the Liberal Democrats.
The campaign coordinator for this ward is Rebecca Burns. Rebecca was the Conservative candidate in the 2019 Council Elections and was narrowly defeated as the Conservative candidate in the by-election held on 29th June 2023
